I owe it to the people around me for making it all possible.
I started ski jumping with the Flying Eagles Ski Club. The Flying Eagles have been an awesome group of athletes, coaches, and parents for me. They provided me with exactly the kind of community that every youth needs, whether an athlete or not. In the same way, Kickin' Kids, Chippewa Valley Nordic, and especially Ted Theyerl helped me become the cross country skier that I am. These local programs are extremely important to developing athletes, and I cannot thank them enough.
Most of all, I owe it to my parents. From driving across the Midwest on a weekly basis, to encouraging me in tough times, and to standing by me as I made the decision to fully commit to Nordic Combined after high school, my mom and dad have always been there for me. Without their steadfast support, I could never have gotten where I am now.
I'd like to thank Prestige Auto Corp, the American Birkebeiner, Sport 2000, Rudy Project, Honey Stinger, Atomic and One Way. It takes an incredible amount of dedication to compete at a high level in this sport, and a portion of that commitment is financial. My sponsors have helped to keep costs reasonable for equipment and travel, without compromising having the best equipment necessary to pursue my dreams. |
USA NORDIC SPORTS
USA Nordic Sports (USANS) is the new name for the team of USA Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined. As the US Ski Team continues to reduce it's support for us, we are doing our own fundraising through our own organization. Here's where you can donate tax-free to the USANS, as well as learn more about our mission: DONATE HERE |
